Moon landing conspiracy theory is a conspiracy theory claiming that the Apollo and the moon landings associated with it was a hoax staged by NASA. According to this conspiracy theory, the six manned landing that took place between 1969 and 1972 was a falsehood. Also, according to the theory, the twelve Apollo astronauts never walked on the moon (Plait, 80).
